Important Information Regarding Shipped Frozen Product: 

Shipments should be immediately placed in the freezer upon delivery. Should there be any noticeable signs of melting, please take pictures immediately of the product with packaging material included and submit them via our contact form here within 3 hours of delivery to be eligible for a refund or reshipment of your order. Our product(s) are packaged and shipped to maintain temperature while in transit, and should not be left un-retrieved for longer than 2 hours. If you are unable to be home during delivery, we strongly advise you to make arrangements for someone to receive your shipment.

Shipping FAQs: 

Please note that it may take up to 7 days for ice cream orders to ship as shipping occurs once per week. Orders are not shipped immediately after they are placed. All orders are shipped out weekly on Tuesday.  Place your order by 11pm EST Sunday to ensure Tuesday’s shipping day.

Shipping charges apply to all items in your cart.  

At this time, we are unable to ship to PO boxes.

Q: If I select 2-day shipping at checkout, when should I expect my ice cream? 

A: Our ice cream orders are shipped out weekly on Tuesdays, so that 2-day shipping option will apply once the ice cream is shipped from our facilities. So, if you place your order on Wednesday and chose 2-day shipping at checkout, your order would be expected to arrive the following Thursday. 

 

Q: I ordered a scoop with my ice cream, will those come in separate shipments? 

A: If you ordered a scoop along with an ice cream order, your scoop will arrive in the package with your ice cream delivery! And ship for FREE! 

 

Q: Why is the cost of ice cream on this site more than the same ice cream I find in the grocery store? 

A: Our pricing and shipping costs online are higher due to the perishable nature of the product. We also use special packaging, shipping and dry ice to ensure the package gets to its destination frozen and ready to eat! All of these factors contribute to the pricing of our product and is why the pricing is higher for online shipping purchases than of that you see in stores. 

 

Q: How do I dispose of the packaging once my ice cream arrives? 

A: The shipper used to get your ice cream to you is biodegradable and compostable! For more information on how to recycle and sustainably dispose of your package, visit https://kodiakooler.com/RECYCLE/
